Bungalows usually have lower eaves, which often means easier access and less equipment. That can make the job simpler, though the length of the roof edge and the condition of the timber still decide the work involved.
Properly fixed boards cope well with wind. The risk comes from poor fixing or leaving rotten timber behind. That is why we remove old boards fully and fix new ones at close intervals to sound material.
