This Louth job was a full tiled roof replacement. The three photos below follow the roof from the bare membrane and battens through to the finished tiles and ridge.
The first photo shows the roof before any tiles went on. A red roofing membrane covers the slope, with timber battens fixed down it, and a roofer is up at the ridge. The membrane and battens are what the tiles are fixed to, so they are laid out and checked before any tiling starts.
In the second and third photos the slope is covered in dark grey tiles, with a ridge running along the top and clipped in place. The third photo looks across the roof from further along and shows a short strip of red membrane still uncovered beside the ridge while the tiling was being completed.
